A sharp tonal contrast anchors this survival narrative, balancing brutal alien conquest against the deceptive facade of harmless creatures and celebrity culture.

The plot builds tension by subverting traditional post-apocalyptic expectations. Si-Hong was once an elite engineering prodigy whose ambitions vanished overnight when murderous alien entities called yomis invaded the planet. Rather than appearing as monstrous invaders, these creatures mask their lethal intent behind disarmingly cute exteriors, creating an unsettling atmosphere where lethal danger constantly hides in plain sight.

Confined to his apartment three years into the occupation, Si-Hong survives strictly on meager government rations as civilization collapses around him. The narrative engine shifts gears when an unexpected visitor, a talking squirrel-like being, infiltrates his isolation. This encounter introduces high-stakes conspiracy and personal betrayal, offering the protagonist a direct path toward dismantling the invasion from the inside.

The central conflict escalates when the visitor reveals the shocking truth behind the global takeover. The alien leader orchestrating Earth's downfall is the creature's own mother, who operates openly among humans under the disguise of Hyo-i, a famous K-pop star. This sharp pivot turns a gritty survival premise into a targeted infiltration mission, forcing an isolated engineer to outmaneuver an omnipresent threat hiding behind celebrity fame.

This manhwa delivers a taut, premise-driven experience with escalating psychological stakes.
